Athena Bravos

Founder

Athena Bravos is the founder and sole proprietor of AtheenOats®. A graduate of Collins College of Hospitality Management at Cal Poly Pomona, Athena embarked upon a new career as a meeting planner, traveling and experiencing the world. After marrying her husband and starting a family, Athena devoted her many talents on Community centered benefits. From an Education Foundation to promote the arts at local schools to a Health Foundation Philanthropy Board, Athena has endeavored to make a difference.

In 2016, a new chapter began for Athena and AtheenOats® became a reality. Athena commenced this venture with an original family recipe and then developed new innovative granola varieties that have rapidly become a regional favorite. AtheenOats® is first and foremost a great food, but in the end, it has been borne from Athena’s passion, experience, family and love.

Alexa Bravos

Director of Social Awareness

Alexa Bravos is The Director of Social Awareness for AtheenOats® and has been instrumental in the development of our give back program for both local communities and the GO2 Foundation for Lung Cancer. In addition to maintaining our Social Media accounts, Alexa works in our innovative kitchen developing new recipes and is a sophomore at Texas Christian University studying Fashion Merchandising.

Theo Bravos

Team Player

Theo Bravos has progressively taken on more responsibility as our company has grown while maintaining a 4.0+ GPA and playing football and tennis at the Varsity level. You’ll find Theo at the AtheenOats® kitchen shipping and receiving products and making deliveries, always with a smile.

The AtheenOats® team has been powered by the love, support and encouragement of the entire Bravos family. Athena’s husband, Peter, does everything from product strategy and concept development, to assisting in the innovative kitchen. Their three children, Alexa, Theo and Zoie each contribute significantly to the success of AtheenOats as well. Zoie is our top sales gal at farmers markets. Finally, the grandmas Christina and Sandy, help with baking and promoting granola love.
