Enchanting Hearts and Hempsita came about from our desire to share the incredible seed of the hemp plant with the world. Hemp hearts are the dehulled seeds of Industrial Hemp  (Cannabis sativa L. subsp. sativa). These plants are grown specifically for the grain and only contain trace amounts of cannabinoids. Hemp grain is very nutritious, high in protein and can be grown in most climates and soils. Because it is a highly regulated plant (though finally legal) most individuals cannot grow it in their home gardens, which is why we have made it our mission to source the highest quality, organic, US grown hemp grain and make it available to all. We have attended many events over the years, sampling people on hemp hearts with very positive feedback, often from people who have never even heard of them. They are versatile and delicious, making it easy to add their nutrition to your diet.
