Use in small amounts and spread thinly. I have tried products from all over the U.S as well has the UK & France for over 10 years before finding WFG. Individual items can be slightly different from order to order because they are small batch produced by hand which gives a little "mystique" to each order. I prefer the thicker body butters over the body creams. I figured it out like this; the butters are for ongoing dry/chapped skin and the creams are for the light duty work.
