The lip balm is made with the beeswax from my hives. I do not use chemicals in the hives so the lip balm is as chemical free as I can manage. There are no chemical preservatives so it is made in small batches and should be used within a year to a year and one half. The oils in the lip balm provide the preservative naturally.
