Our Oregon Peppermint Fields Soap is made with natural ingredients like coconut, olive & castor oils, activated charcoal, clay & local peppermint essential oil.

Let me count the amazing ways peppermint essential oil can affect our bodies! It may be the most versatile essential oil in the world along with lavender. Literally, there are few body, health & mind issues that peppermint oil cannot help. To name a few, it exudes calming and anesthetic properties which relieve sore muscles & headaches, soothe achy joints, & address symptoms of PMS when used topically. The peppermint plant contains menthol, an organic compound with pain-relieving properties providing a wonderful cooling sensation while naturally alleviating discomfort. It also has antiviral & anti-inflammatory properties and so is used in respiratory tract congestion & infection.  Peppermint oil is even used as a natural bug repellent!

Clays, like the red kaolin clay in this soap, cleanse & detoxify the skin & minimize pores, leaving your delicate skin feeling moisturized. Kaolin clay also lends necessary minerals that add to the health of your skin. The black color here is made by activated charcoal!
