This leaf was respectfully taken from a lovely little oak tree in Oregon.  


The leaf charm is handmade with fine silver.  

The leaf itself is a bit shy of 1 1/2" long and a touch over 1 inch across at its widest.  One of my larger pieces.  The bail opening is 3.7 mm and should accommodate any chain.


~Fine silver jewelry is 99.9% pure silver (not 92.5% sterling silver), containing eco-friendly recycled silver, mostly from old electronics. I make my own molds or press a leaf directly into the silver clay, each one is unique. I form and cut, file, sand, and polish every piece by hand, then tumble it for strength and extra shine.
All other metal used is sterling silver, oxidized and lightly polished like an antiqued heirloom treasure if you so choose.

Hello, this might be a repeat question, just wasn't sure if my message sent on the "contact us" page. Just wanted to verify that the oxidized one, as you mentioned, was silver and so would not tarnish any differently than the silver one. Additionally, how should i add the soldered ring upgrade to this item on this platform? Thank you!

Hello, thanks for your question and interest in my work!  I have added the soldered ring upgrade option to this listing.

Regarding the finish:
After the oxidizing treatment, I polish up the high points on the leaf to really bring out the details. The oxidizing will stick for good in the deep parts of the design. The back of the pendant and high points on the front may polish themselves with continuous wear, or they can oxidize a little further over time if it isn't worn often. I include a polishing pad so you can polish it later, if needed.
