Herkimer diamonds are double-terminated quartz crystals either clear or with awesome natural inclusions. I'm quite fond of the uniqueness of the shapes and inclusions. Very nicely shaped stones overall, the middle stone has a gouge in the back side which can't be seen while worn. Each stone is unique with lots of character. Please compare the size to a ruler. The stones total 15 mm long and 9 mm across at the widest. The total pendant length with the bail is 27 mm, or about 1 1/16 inches. The ring opening is 3.7 mm and should accommodate any chain. All metal is sterling silver, oxidized and lightly polished for an antiqued look.
