This lotion is an everyday product that takes 2-5 minutes to soak into your skin. It creates a barrier and you can wash 4-5 times before reapplying. I use the beeswax from my hives and since I do not use chemicals in the hives it is as chemical free as I can manage. There are no chemical preservatives so it is made in small batches and should be used within a year to a year and one half. The oils in the lotion provide the preservative naturally.
