Re-releasing with labradorite~

A beautiful moth-like tip of valerian was calling my name.  I was overjoyed to see it and make it in silver, as I'd been wanting to add valerian to my fine silver materia medica for a while now :)

Valerian is something of a controversial one for aiding with sleep.  While some hate the smell of it, I personally really like it, especially the scent of the flowers.


The back of this pendant (like all of my fine silver creations) is smooth.

The leaf itself is 30 mm long  and 35 mm across at its widest.  The total pendant length is 44 mm long, about 1 3/4."  The bail opening is 3.7 mm and should accommodate any chain.
The oxidation is a little darker in person that what is showing up in the photos for some reason.

Photo example worn is with a similar piece, with vesuvianite instead of labradorite.


Silver metal clay is 99% pure silver containing eco-friendly recycled silver.  I make my own molds or press a leaf directly into the clay, each one is unique.  I form and cut, file, torch, sand, and polish every piece by hand, then tumble it for strength and extra shine.
All other metal used is sterling silver, oxidized and lightly polished like an antiqued heirloom treasure if you so choose.
